The Skern runestone is a memorial dating from the Viking Age and located in central Jutland in Denmark. It features a staring face at its center surrounded by a notable Younger Futhark inscription. The inscription indicates that it was raised by a woman, Sasgerðr, to a man she held dear. His name was Oðinkárr. The first element of his name refers to the god Odin (Old Norse Oðinn). It ends with a curse aimed at anyone who might harm the monument.
