These gorgeous, Seattle-made 5.5x4.5" letter-pressed greeting cards feature an illustration of a Viking Age Swedish archaeological find (a representation of Thor's hammer worn as an amulet) combined with a friendly greeting followed by an invocation of the deities Thor and Odin found on a runic inscription from 13th century Bryggen in what is today Bergen, Norway.
All historic items on these cards are carefully explained on the cards' backs by Joseph S. Hopkins and Mathias Nordvig (University of Colorado, Boulder).
These cards contain North American wildflower seeds and may be planted to grow in soil and with water.
Each card comes with a custom hand-embossed envelope.
